Produktinformation
Z-F-R-AMC is a small molecule drug that has been shown to be active against Leishmania, Asiaticus and transcriptome. It binds to the acidic ph of the parasite and inhibits proteases, peptidases and sequences. This results in the inhibition of extracellular matrix (ECM) deformation and cell division, which leads to an increase in ECM accumulation. Z-F-R-AMC is also able to inhibit the proton transport in the parasite's membrane, which may lead to an increase in acidity of the cytoplasm due to the accumulation of protons from ATP hydrolysis. This drug is also able to bind with tropomyosin on the surface of cells, preventing its interaction with actin filaments. The binding of Z-F-R-AMC with tropomyosin prevents actin polymerisation and leads to a decrease in muscle contractility.
