AtractylenolideII is a bioactive polyketide with anticancer properties that belongs to the class of atractylenolides. It has been shown to be cytotoxic to cancer cells in vitro and to have synergistic effects with other natural products, such as radix notoginseng and fructus ligustri. AtractylenolideII has a significant cytotoxicity response element in vitro. The concentration-time curve was determined by HPLC analysis and found that atractylenolideII is stable for up to 24 hours, which may allow for more effective treatment regimes.
