Beschreibung

(1-Aminoethyl)phosphonic acid is a synthetic drug that inhibits serine proteases. It has been shown to have an irreversible inhibition effect on the enzyme ubiquitin-proteasome system in gram-negative bacteria. This drug can be used as a molecular probe for studying the hydrophobic effect of the molecule and its inhibition constant. (1-Aminoethyl)phosphonic acid is also effective against Streptococcus faecalis, which is a gram-positive bacterium.
