Produktinformation
- Di-n-propylamine hydrochloride
- N-propylpropan-1-amine hydrochloride (1:1)
Dipropylamine hydrochloride is an organic compound that is an inhibitor of styrene. It is a white crystalline powder that is soluble in water and ethanol. Dipropylamine hydrochloride inhibits the growth of bacteria by binding to the aromatic ring of styrene, which prevents the formation of nitrobenzene. This chemical has been shown to inhibit cholesteryl ester transfer and chloride ion transport in vitro. Dipropylamine hydrochloride also inhibits the production of monomers from acrylonitrile and nanowires from alkynes and isoprene, as well as the synthesis of amines from ammonia, making it useful for many industrial purposes.
