Beschreibung

Trans-(2-aminocyclohexyl)methanol is a carbamoylating agent that can be used to synthesize other organic compounds. The trans conformation is the most common form of this compound in solution and has been assigned an axial conformation. Trans-(2-aminocyclohexyl)methanol has two stereoisomers, which are mirror images of each other. One of them is axial, while the other one is equatorial. X-ray analysis showed that the molecular structure is planar and has a chair configuration with a methylene group connected to each ring.
