• Beschreibung: 1,3-Bis(4-hydroxybutyl)tetramethyldisiloxane is a polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) that has been functionalized with ethylene diamine groups. This PDMS has been synthesised by the reaction of tetramethyldisiloxane with ethylene diamine. It is a high molecular weight PDMS with a viscosity of 1,000 cP at 25°C and an average molecular weight of 3,000 g/mol. The electron microscopic images show that it has a deformation on the surface, which may be due to its use as an elastomer extender in silicone rubber formulations. It is also used as a flexural modifier for silicon rubber compounds. The cocl2 value for this compound is 2.0E+02 J/m2K. The morphology of the compound is spherical with no visible crystals or other defects.br>br>
