Bismuth oxide also has an x-ray diffraction pattern with peaks at 2θ = 16.8°, 12.1°, 9.5°, 8.3°, 7.2°, 6.4°, 5.6° and 4.4° corresponding to the (111), (200), (220), (311), (222), (400) and (422) planes respectively, which are typical for molecular crystals with cubic symmetry.
