Beschreibung

4-tert-Butylcalix[4]arene is a synthetic molecule that binds to the glucocorticoid receptor and has been used in analytical chemistry as a sodium salt. It has shown stability in transport properties and chemical stability, with a high adsorption rate. 4-tert-Butylcalix[4]arene has been shown to have polymorphic properties, with two different crystal structures. The molecule also shows frequency shift for polymeric matrices. This compound is a coordination complex of an intramolecular hydrogen bond and an acid complex with protocatechuic acid, which is a hydroxyl group.
