Beschreibung:
5-bromo-1,3-difluoro-2-methylbenzene is a brominated compound that is synthesized from ethyl acetate and borate. It is soluble in water and hydrochloric acid but insoluble in n-hexane. 5-Bromo-1,3-difluoro-2-methylbenzene reacts with phenylboronic acid to form an intermediate product which is then reacted with triisopropyl to produce the final product. 5-Bromo-1,3-difluoro-2-methylbenzene has no medicinal properties but it can be used as a starting material for synthesizing various drugs.
