Produktinformation
- 2-Cyanobenzothiazole
1,3-Benzothiazole-2-carbonitrile is a molecule that has the potential to be used to target autoimmune diseases. It inhibits the activity of enzymes such as cytochrome p450 and can be labeled with radioactive isotopes for imaging in animals. 1,3-Benzothiazole-2-carbonitrile has been shown to induce necrotic cell death and inhibit the production of lysine residues in cells infected with bacteria. 1,3-Benzothiazole-2-carbonitrile also reduces the production of nitric oxide by inhibiting enzymes that produce nitric oxide synthase. This molecule also has low toxicity in animals and is chemically stable under conditions where other molecules would decompose.
