Produktinformation
- 1H-imidazole
- 4-(1,1-dimethylethyl)-
4-tert-Butyl-1H-imidazole is an analog of histamine, an organic molecule that functions as a neurotransmitter. It has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells in animal experiments and is currently being studied for its potential therapeutic use in humans. 4-tert-Butyl-1H-imidazole has also been shown to be effective against leafhoppers, diptera, and weevils. This compound inhibits the microtubule polymerization process by binding to tubulin, which disrupts microtubule assembly and leads to cell death.4-tert-Butyl-1H-imidazole has not been tested on humans or animals for carcinogenic effects.
