Beschreibung:
Tert-Butyl 5-bromonicotinate is a heat-stable compound that can be used as a preservative in pasteurized foods. It has been evaluated for its microbial activity, and it has shown to have bacteriostatic properties against many bacteria including staphylococcus, pseudomonas, and escherichia coli. Tert-Butyl 5-bromonicotinate is also active against fungi. The rate of reaction depends on the temperature and pH of the food product. Tert-Butyl 5-bromonicotinate is not toxic to humans and does not react with vitamin C or other vitamins.
