Beschreibung:
1,3-Benzothiazole-2-carbohydrazide is an antibacterial agent that belongs to the group of pyrazoles. This molecule has been shown to inhibit the growth of Mycobacterium tuberculosis and other bacteria in vitro. 1,3-Benzothiazole-2-carbohydrazide is also a potential antitumor agent that reversibly inhibits cell proliferation. The antimicrobial activity of this molecule has been shown in a cell line (A549) and it is active against both Gram positive and Gram negative bacteria. It has been shown to be active against methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA).
