2-(Benzylmethylamino)ethyl acetoacetate is a synthetic drug that has been shown to have a long-acting effect. It has been shown to be metabolized by the liver and excreted in urine, with no significant evidence of accumulation or toxicity.
2-(Benzylmethylamino)ethyl acetoacetate can be used as a proton pump inhibitor for the treatment of gastric acid secretion, and has also been shown to be an effective calcium antagonist.
