Beschreibung:
2-Bromo-6-methylphenol (2BMP) is a reactive, benzene derivative that has been shown to be catalyzed by nitro groups. This reaction results in the formation of an aldehyde group and an ethyl group. 2BMP also reacts with toluidine to form a ligand and epoxidation products. 2BMP can be used for the synthesis of chiral sulfoxides, which are important compounds in organic synthesis.
