Beschreibung:
6-Bromo-2-naphthalenecarboxaldehyde is a synthetic primary amino acid that is used as a diagnostic probe for optical imaging. It reacts with the ferrocene derivative to form a fluorescent product, which can be localized using microscopy. The reaction is reversible, and the 6-Bromo-2-naphthalenecarboxaldehyde can be removed by washing the tissue with water or other solvents. This compound has been shown to bind reversibly to model proteins such as app/ps1 transgenic mice.
