Beschreibung:
7-Bromo-1H-pyrrolo[2,3-c]pyridine is a potent antiproliferative agent that binds to the colchicine binding site of the chloride channel in the cell membrane. It inhibits cell proliferation by blocking chloride ion influx into cells. 7-Bromo-1H-pyrrolo[2,3-c]pyridine has been shown to inhibit tumor growth in human epidermoid carcinoma cells and is being investigated as a possible anticancer drug.
