Bis(triphenylphosphine)palladium(II) dichloride is an organometallic compound that has antibiotic activity. It is the active methylene in a number of drug molecules, including methyldopa, which is used to treat high blood pressure and postural hypotension. Bis(triphenylphosphine)palladium(II) dichloride also has potential use as a target enzyme for cross-coupling reactions.
