Produktinformation
- sodium {4-[(2R)-2-{[(2R)-2-(3-chlorophenyl)-2-hydroxyethyl]amino}propyl]phenoxy}acetate
BRL 37344 is a receptor antagonist that competes with the natural agonist, l-arginine, for binding to the α-adrenergic receptor. BRL 37344 has been shown to produce a linear dose-response in experimental models of bladder contraction and relaxation. The drug also has been shown to have antagonistic effects on l-type calcium channels when used at concentrations lower than 10 μM. BRL 37344 can be used as an adjunct treatment for patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia who are not responding adequately to tadalafil therapy. It may also be useful in treating other disorders involving smooth muscle relaxation and contraction, including urinary tract disorders such as overactive bladder and urinary frequency.
