2-Bromopropionamide is a chemical compound that binds to the receptor site of alpha 2-adrenergic receptors. It has been used as a test compound and analog in the study of diabetes neuropathy. 2-Bromopropionamide is an amide with two water molecules, which are bound to the carbonyl carbon atom and the nitrogen atoms on either side of the carbonyl.
