Beschreibung

4-Bromo-2-butenoic acid ethyl ester is a chiral enantiopure compound which can be used in the synthesis of β-amino acids. It has been shown to be an efficient method for the preparation of β-amino acids and sulfoxides, which are important intermediates in the production of health care products. 4-Bromo-2-butenoic acid ethyl ester is also used as a reagent for the allylation of aromatic compounds and halides, as well as an acceptor for nucleophilic substitution reactions with Lewis acids.
