Beschreibung:Bisphenol-A (BPA) is a polystyrene that has been modified to contain 4 EO diacrylate. This polymer is optically transparent and spherical, with a diameter of about 1 micron. The polymers are microspheres that have been laser ablated and then coated with microlenses for optical purposes. BPA can be used in the fabrication of high-performance lenses which allow for viewing at high magnification levels. Femtosecond laser ablation was used to create surface structures on the spheres, resulting in highly uniform spatial distributions of features.
