1-t-Boc-4-piperidone is a chemical intermediate that belongs to the group of p2. It is an ancillary used in the synthesis of many organic compounds, including epidermal growth factor analogs. 1-t-Boc-4-piperidone has been shown to have pharmacokinetic properties that are similar to those of epidermal growth factor and can be used for the treatment of cancer. This drug has been shown to inhibit the growth of skin cancer cells and may also be useful in treating other types of cancer.
