Produktinformation
- 2-Bromobenzeneacetaldehyde1-Bromo-2-(formylmethyl)benzene
(2-Bromophenyl)acetaldehyde is an aporphine that binds to the opioid receptor. It is synthesized by the cross-coupling of 2-bromobenzaldehyde and acetyl chloride in the presence of a base. The synthesis requires an equatorial orientation of the aporphine, as well as amines with primary or secondary chirality. (2-Bromophenyl)acetaldehyde has been shown to have high affinity for the opioid receptor and can be used to determine receptor binding profiles. It also has been shown to be useful in the analysis of residues on surfaces exposed to radiation.
