(2R)-Bornane-10,2-sultam is an enantiomer of (2S)-Bornane-10,2-sultam. It has been shown to be a potent green fluorescent substrate in HPLC analyses. This compound reacts with chloride and glyoxylate to form the corresponding products. The addition of chiral reagents such as dimethyl fumarate leads to the formation of an enantiomeric product that has a high degree of selectivity for the desired stereoisomer.
