Beschreibung

Boc-L-His(Tos)-OH is an activating agent that can be used in organic synthesis. It is soluble in diethyl ether and pentafluorophenyl solvents. Boc-L-His(Tos)-OH is activated by the addition of a base to the reaction mixture, which removes water from the molecule. This activated compound can then be desorbed from the reaction vessel onto a silica gel column using a high vacuum, yielding a high yield of product. The activated compound can also be coupled to other compounds using solid phase synthesis or by using matrices such as chloride or reversed phase supports.
