Beschreibung

Benzilic acid is a natural compound with the molecular formula C6H5CO2H. It belongs to the group of organic compounds called benzilic acids, which are characterized by a benzene ring and carboxylic acid functional groups. This compound can be prepared in the laboratory using a preparative high-performance liquid chromatography technique. Benzilic acid has been shown to have antioxidant properties that may help protect cells from free radical-induced damage and inhibit tumor growth.
