Produktinformation
- Boc-DL-Ala-OH
- N-tert-Butoxycarbonyl-DL-alanine
- Boc-DL-Alanine-OH
Boc-DL-alanine is a synthetic anticancer compound that has been shown to inhibit the growth of tumor xenografts in mice. It also inhibits cancer cells by binding to a protein receptor that regulates the growth of cells. The inhibition of this factor receptor prevents the activation of protein kinase C, leading to cancer cell death. Boc-DL-alanine has a number of other biological effects, including an inhibitory effect on strain development, and an inhibitory effect on inhibitor binding. This compound was synthesized using an asymmetric synthesis strategy, which involved the use of chiral auxiliaries.
