Boc-L-aspartic acid-beta-allyl ester is an enzyme that hydrolyzes diesters, such as methyl esters, to their corresponding carboxylic acid derivatives. This enzyme is a member of the family of amidohydrolases and has been shown to be efficient in enzymatic hydrolysis of methyl esters. The active site of this enzyme contains glutamic acid and aspartic acid residues that are important for the catalytic activity.
