• Beschreibung: Boc-L-serine N-hydroxysuccinimide ester is a chromatographic reagent that functions as an effective method for the synthesis of peptides. This reagent can be used in silylation reactions to introduce hydroxyl groups onto amino acid side chains. It also has a melting point of 210°C, and can be used to determine the sequence of peptides by optical spectroscopy. The result is a mobility shift in the spectrum of the peptide, which corresponds to a change in its sequence. The mobilities at different wavelengths are determined by nmr spectra. Boc-L-serine N-hydroxysuccinimide ester is most commonly used for the synthesis of peptides with masses corresponding to less than 10 kDa and with up to two amino acid residues per molecule.
