Beschreibung:
2-(Bromomethyl)-6-(hydroxymethyl)pyridine is a linker that can be used to connect the hydrophobic anthracene chromophore and hydrophilic phosphoryl group. It has been shown to have catalytic activity with respect to photocleavage reactions, which may be due to its helical structure and interaction with the substrate. 2-Bromomethyl-6-(hydroxymethyl)pyridine can also be used as a linker in other chemical reactions, such as DNA synthesis or protein binding.
