Beschreibung

N-Benzylcinchonidinium Chloride is a multidrug transport inhibitor that binds to the chloride ion channel in the mitochondrial membrane, inhibiting the transport of chloride ions into the mitochondria. This leads to an increase in intracellular chloride concentrations and inhibition of mitochondrial respiration. N-Benzylcinchonidinium Chloride has been shown to be effective against tumor cells in vitro and may have beneficial effects on obesity.
