Tert-butyldimethylsilyl (S)-glycidyl ether is an enantioselective alkylating agent used in organic synthesis. It is a member of the class of tricyclic compounds, which are characterized by their three benzene rings joined together by one or more shared bonds. Tert-butyldimethylsilyl (S)-glycidyl ether is a lithiation reagent that can be used to introduce a lithium atom into an aromatic ring.
