Beschreibung

Falcarindiol is a natural compound found in plants such as cumin and caraway. It has shown to have significant cytotoxicity against human HL-60 cells when tested with an analytical method. Falcarindiol also inhibits the energy metabolism of these cells, which may be due to its inhibition of glycol ethers. Falcarindiol has been shown to inhibit the apoptosis pathway by preventing neuronal death in vitro in hl-60 cells. Inhibition of glycol ethers may also provide protection against infectious diseases and human serum, although further research is needed.
