Produktinformation
- Tert-Butyl {Amino[(Tert-Butoxycarbonyl)Amino]Methylidene}Carbamate (Non-Preferred Name)
- N,N'-Bis(tert-butoxycarbonyl)guanidine
1,3-Bis(tert-butoxycarbonyl)guanidine is a synthetic molecule that has been shown to be effective in inhibiting the replication of both influenza virus and wild-type virus, as well as other viruses. It inhibits viral RNA replication by binding to amines that are essential for the synthesis of viral RNA. This inhibitor may also be used in polymer conjugates for the treatment of bacterial infections. In addition, 1,3-bis(tert-butoxycarbonyl)guanidine has been shown to inhibit the growth of bacteria such as faecalis and Staphylococcus aureus by competitive inhibition.
