Beschreibung

Benzyl (3-hydroxypropyl)carbamate is a molecule that was synthesized as an acetylating agent. It is stable in the presence of strong acids and alkalis, and has a high amination reaction rate. This molecule is used to prepare synthons for the synthesis of biologically active compounds such as mannosylated benzyl carbamates. The ring-opening reaction mechanism of this molecule has been studied extensively in order to understand why its synthetic ability is superior to other molecules. Benzyl (3-hydroxypropyl)carbamate has enhanced the rate of reactions by more than 100 times when compared with other molecules.
