Produktinformation
- Barium trifluoroacetate
Barium Bis(trifluoroacetate) is a superconductor that has been used in the production of copper-yttrium solutions. It has also been used as a reagent for the synthesis of anhydrous barium oxide, which is used in the detection of high concentrations of water vapor. Barium Bis(trifluoroacetate) is soluble in hydrochloric acid and water vapor and can be produced by reacting barium hydroxide with trifluoroacetic acid. The synthesis method for this compound involves a number of chemical reactions, including the reaction between barium hydroxide and trifluoroacetic acid to produce the bis(trifluoroacetate), followed by the addition of hydrogen fluoride to produce fluorine gas and then reacting with copper metal to form copper (II) trifluorotrate.
