4-Chloro-3-methylaniline (4CMA) is a functional theory, which is the study of how molecules function in the environment. 4CMA is stable in dilution method, but not when it is mixed with other compounds. The molecule has been shown to have biological properties such as antibacterial activity and hydrogen bond formation. 4CMA also interacts with chlorine to form chloroform, which can be toxic.
