Beschreibung

4-Chlorobutyryl chloride is a reactive chemical that can be used in the synthesis of organic compounds. This compound reacts with sodium salts, potassium dichromate, and sodium carbonate to form 4-chlorobutyric acid. The reaction solution was analyzed by phosphotungstic acid (PTA) and found to contain no impurities. The structural analysis showed that the product has a single chiral center and an anhydrous structure. 4-Chlorobutyryl chloride is also known for its minimal toxicity and lack of osmotic effects on living organisms when dissolved in water. It has been shown to have biological properties when tested on mice, which may be due to its ability to inhibit protein synthesis.
