Beschreibung:Coumarin 152 is a coumarin derivative that was developed as a fluorescent probe for phospholipid membranes. Coumarin 152 binds to the acyl chains of the lipid bilayer and has been shown to be useful in assessing the integrity of the membrane. Coumarin 152 is also used as a substrate for cytochrome P450 activity and human serum, which can be used as an indicator for liver function. Coumarin 152 also has clinical use in detecting dinucleotide phosphate (DNP) levels in urine, which are elevated with diabetes mellitus or renal failure.
