Beschreibung:Comin's reagent is a sulfonation agent that reacts with an enolate and forms a sulfonic acid. The reaction can be used to synthesize chiral compounds. Comin's reagent is selective for the (R) configuration of acetylcholine and can be used to synthesize α-amino acids from chiral alcohols and esters. Comin's reagent is also used in the synthesis of neurotrophic or growth factor compounds, which are proteins that promote cell growth or differentiation.
