Beschreibung

N-(Cyclopropylmethyl)propan-1-amine is a compound that is used as a surrogate of cyanuric acid. It has been shown to be an agonist at the corticotropin-releasing hormone (CRH) receptor, which may be responsible for its effects on the immune system. This drug also has functionalities similar to those of amines and can act as a nucleophile in an attack on chloride or other electrophiles, such as epoxy groups. The hydroxyl group on this compound allows it to act as a hydrogen-bond acceptor and water molecule donor.
