Beschreibung

Cedryl acetate is a cationic surfactant that is used in detergent compositions. It is a mixture of ester compounds, glycol ethers, fatty acids, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Cedryl acetate has been shown to have anti-inflammatory effects in animal models with autoimmune diseases. Cedryl acetate also has an effective dose between pH 5-7 and may be used as a preservative for pharmaceutical preparations. The use of cedryl acetate as a preservative has been studied for its effectiveness in preserving the activity of lemongrass oil when encapsulated in microcapsules.
