Beschreibung

1-Carboxycyclopropanecarboxamide is a white crystalline solid that has not been characterized in detail. It was found to be insoluble in water and can cause death of cells by generating hydrogen peroxide. The compound also has an autophagy activity, which is the process of degradation of proteins and other macromolecules by the lysosome in response to starvation or other stresses. 1-Carboxycyclopropanecarboxamide may have pharmacological activity, but its toxicity is unknown.
