Beschreibung

Cinepazidemaleate is a drug used for the treatment of cerebral and coronary heart diseases. It acts as an inhibitor of neuronal death, which occurs when the cells of the brain are deprived of oxygen and glucose. Cinepazidemaleate inhibits mitochondrial functions by blocking ATP production in cellular mitochondria, thereby preventing energy metabolism. This inhibition leads to an increase in basic proteins that can be detected in animal models. Studies have shown that cinepazidemaleate is more effective when combined with other drugs such as piperazine maleate or glucose injection.
