Beschreibung

3-Carboxyphenylboronic acid is a natural compound that is used in the treatment of tumors. It is also used as a starting material for the synthesis of other compounds, such as 3-carboxyphenylboronic acid and 3-carboxyphenylboronic acid hydrochloride. 3-Carboxyphenylboronic acid has been shown to activate signal pathways involved in tumor growth, survival, and metastasis. This drug has low bioavailability and can be excreted through urine or human serum. 3-Carboxyphenylboronic acid contains a pyrazole ring with ester linkages. Hydrogen bonding interactions are also present between this molecule and dopamine, which may account for its antitumor activity.
