• Beschreibung: Cannabichromene is a non-psychotropic phytocannabinoid which is not active at the CB receptors but is a full agonist for the TRP cation channels TRPA1 (EC50 = 90 nM) and partially agonist at TRPV1-4 and 8 (EC50 = 600 nM and 1.9 ÎŒM, respectively), which inhibit endocannabinoid activity and mildly activate CB2 receptors (Ki = 100 nM) (Pertwee and Cascio, 2016) in turn. In vitro, it preserved the viability of mammalian adult neural stem and progenitor cells (Shinjyo and Di Marzo, 2013). In experimental animal models of edema, cannabichromene showed anti-inflammatory properties through a CB receptor-independent mechanism and mice behavioural studies demonstrated the induction of analgesic properties and general cannabinoid-like effects in vivo (DeLong, 2010).
