Beschreibung:Coconut oil is a lipid extracted from the meat of mature coconuts. Coconut oil has been shown to have significant health benefits for metabolic disorders and may also be used as an anti-inflammatory agent. Coconut oil has been shown to reduce the level of oxidative stress in cells and tissue, which may be due to its high content of antioxidant vitamins such as vitamin E. This lipid also has antimicrobial properties, which are attributed to its high content of saturated fatty acids, such as lauric acid. This fatty acid has been shown to inhibit the growth of bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus.
