2-(Chloromethyl)furan is a nucleophilic reagent that is used as a pharmaceutical ingredient. This product also binds to binder molecules and can be used in chemical reactions. 2-(Chloromethyl)furan reacts with ns3 protease, which is an enzyme that plays a key role in HIV replication, leading to the inhibition of viral production.
