Beschreibung:Carbopol Ultrez 10 is a film-forming polymer that is used in the formulation of detergent compositions. It consists of polyacrylic acid crosslinked with polyethylene glycol and has a hydroxyl group that can react with boron nitride to form an amide linkage. Carbopol Ultrez 10 has been used as a vehicle for topical applications of drugs such as all-trans retinoic acid, which are not soluble in water. This product also has antiinflammatory properties that are thought to be due to its ability to inhibit prostaglandin synthesis through its interaction with the fatty acid component of phospholipids.
